Many of you have seen in the news the recent rash of “bomb threats” to several public schools. These threats have occurred all over the nation but this month we saw day after day schools in Worcester County and southern Delaware threatened by anonymous callers. I saddens me that there are people who have no compulsion about threatening the lives of children. This is obviously a well coordinated attack on our society at large. I don't know if this is someone's idea of a big joke or if it is a terrorist plot to disrupt our schools and law enforcement agencies.  I do know that it is satanic in nature and that the heart of it is pure evil. In my flesh, I want the culprit or culprits caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But in my spirit I am saddened that we live in a time where this has become the norm. Seldom does a day go by that we do not hear about students somewhere being attacked and killed by some intruder into our schools. I hear the frustration in our politicians, parents, and educational leaders. I have ideas in my own mind about how we should handle this crisis in our world. I want to scream at the politicians who use these events to promote their own agendas and offer no real solutions. I am angry that we have allowed things in our country to progress to this level. I am no prophet but I can connect the dots. When we outlaw prayer and the Bible in our schools, when we bar the name of God from our classrooms, and when we promote promiscuous lifestyles and unbiblical practices to our students then what should we expect will be the outcome. [...]

Home Schooling

Check out this op ed from "The Daily Signal". I love what we do at Seaside Christian Academy but I have great respect for those families who have chosen to "Home School" their children and I believe that public education needs to make some major changes if it is going to remain viable in America.
